Which are the Refractive Errors?
The refractive errors are: Myopia, Hyperopia and Astigmatism.  These can be corrected with eyeglasses, contact lenses and refractive surgery.

It is a refractive defect that occurs when the cornea is too curved or the eye is too long, so the images are focused in front of the retina. People who suffer from Myopia see near objects clearly while the distance vision becomes blurred.

It’ss a refractive error that occurs when the cornea is too flat and the eye is too short, causing the images to focus behind the retina. People with this defect see further objects clearer than the nearest objects.

It can be associated with myopia and hyperopia. This refractive error occurs when the cornea is oval-shaped causing the image to be focused on various points of the retina. The images are distorted or slanted because the sun rays enter the eye in a deflected way.
